A documentary about THE KIM SISTERS – the trio often called the origin of K-Pop music.
Lee Nan-young, a famous Korean singer, married composer Kim Hae-song and they performed as the KPK musical troupe until Kim was kidnapped by North Korea. Then, during the Korean War, Lee produced Korea’s first vocal girl group ‘The Kim Sisters’ with her daughters Sukja, Ae-ja, and her niece Min-ja. Th Kim Sisters became hugely popular at the U.S. 8th Army base. Later they began to perform in Las Vegas: Audiences met three shy girls who sang in fluent English without even knowing the language. Yet they were electric on stage.
