Photographer Geoff Sims gets bitten by the eclipse bug after witnessing the darkness of a total solar eclipse. To feed his obsession, he goes on a quest to capture as many solar eclipses as possible leading him to unleash a photographic assault in the far reaches of Africa only to get clouded out by mother nature. Juggling between real life, doing odd jobs, and maintaining a relationship threaten his quest to experience the next eclipse. He gets a real adventure when he decides to head to the North Pole to face off with mother nature again to experience the next total solar eclipse.
