Focusing on the issues of Online Piracy and File Sharing, this discussion will touch on subjects such as the effect that Piracy and Sharing are having on struggling independent filmmakers, and with SOPA’s recent introduction and ongoing reworking, what possible ideas for a feasible legal solution could potentially be put in place to reinvigorate the industry.

Focus on the issues of film taxes, incentives, and job creation, this discussion will focus on issues concerning how taxes, and the introduction of tax incentives, can bring more independent film to Washington, DC, and how these film productions could successfully boost the economy by bringing jobs to DC.
