DCIFF’S FilmChat event, LOL: Muslim-American Women Challenging Stereotypes with Comedy, turned out to be a massive success, full of entertainment! HumanitiesDC and DCIFF were able to come together and create a light hearted and interesting experience for all ages to enjoy. With a sold out show, there was an amazing turn out and so much to learn from Deirdre Evans, Yasmine Elhady, Aizzah Fatima, and Imam Zawahry. People with different life experiences were able to come together to learn about “Americanish” and it’s behind the scene stories. Stay tuned for more inspirational events like this one from DCIFF!
