Susan and Duane Cleveland have everything to be happy about. Everything except a great sex life. So they decide to take a trip to the desert as a quest to rekindle their passion.

Laurence Arcadias teaches animation at the Maryland Institute College of Art and is the Chair of the Animation department. She started her career in Paris as an illustrator and animator for T.V shows. After being rewarded for best short animated TV series in Annecy festival for her series ”Alex” she received a Grant from French Government (BOURSE LAVOISIER) and spent 3 years as an Animator in Residence at Apple computer’s ATG /Graphics Research group in Cupertino, California. She worked as a senior animator, interaction designer, creative director for several games and multi-media companies in California, including IDEO, KODAK, HOTWIRED before moving to Baltimore…Her personal work has been exhibited and screened in international festivals. She just completed a stop-motion film in France; “tempête dans une chamber à coucher”.

Co-director Juliette Marchand is an award winning animator and film director.  After graduating from Ecole Nationale Des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1996  she worked for different studios such as Folimage and Amuse films, perfecting her stop motion technique. Later she directed a stop motion TV show: « Planet Garbo » for France 3 TV channel and her own author films experimenting with « pixilation».  Juliette also teaches at MICA, Les Gobelins and Parsons School, Paris.
