Lead Cast: Amy Matysio, Ben Cotton, Daniel Arnold

Lawrence is an ever-optimistic suit salesman for whom everything always goes right   until he takes the cynical and suicidal credit collector Holloman under his wing, and everything starts to go wrong.  Very wrong. As Holloman’s fortunes begin to improve, Lawrence’s happy life takes major turns for the worse: his car is crushed, his dog goes missing, he loses his job, he’s dumped by his fiance, and his apartment burns to the ground. And that’s just the beginning.

Is happiness determined by our outlook on life? Or can our destiny be changed … by another.

Adapted by Daniel Arnold and Matthew Kowalchuk from the widely successful play of the same name by one of Canada’s leading playwrights, MORRIS PANYCH, two-time winner of the Governor General Award.

AWARDS:
“Best Emerging Director” (Matthew Kowalchuk), 2013 Vancouver International Film Festival.
“Best Canadian Film”, “Rising Star Actor” (Ben Cotton), and “Rising Star Filmmaker” (Matthew Kowalchuk), Edmonton International Film Festival 2013.

Director Matthew Kowalchuk  first partnered with his ‘Lawrence & Holloman’ collaborator Daniel Arnold on the 35mm short film ‘The Janitors’, which won the NSI Drama Prize, screened at numerous festivals and was broadcast on CBC and Italian payTV.
