Conscience
Directed by Austin Drakes
Lead Cast: Chris Bryant, Odera Adimorah, Marki Michelle
USA / 2017 / 11mins
Anthony hasn’t always been the coolest guy in the group. He is needy, obsessive, lonely, and just overall corny. He ends up dating a woman named Lauren, the complete opposite of Anthony. She is attractive, smart, and always the center of attention which causes her to be a bit selfish. Lauren is the type that uses men and relationships to her advantage. This time, she plays with the wrong one’s emotions.
Anthony becomes unstable in the midst of their breakup, causing him to spiral downward. Anthony’s “friends” try to help him back on track and move on with his life, for better or for worse. Conscience is a story inspired by the Cherokee Wisdom parable – Tale of the Two Wolves.
