After the 2016 presidential election, a young woman moves across the country to Washington D.C., in the hopes of single-handedly sparking the next American revolution. Consumed by unrelenting bad news, financial strain, and exhausting work hours— she finds herself forced to navigate her way through isolating darkness back into the light.

Director Bio:
Courtney Jines is a 25 year old filmmaker based in D.C. and Los Angeles. In 2016 she was selected as a winner of the Sundance Film Festival’s Ignite Fellowship for emerging filmmakers, after submitting her directorial debut short film In The Future. She was subsequently hired to direct the trailer for Sundance NextFest 2016, which was received by a standing ovation at the festival. She has directed videos and crafted social media campaigns for Sundance Film Festival, People’s Climate March, and the National Museum of Women in The Arts. Her film and photography work has been featured by Girlgaze, Coolhunting, SundanceTV, and Adobe Project1324.
