Summer 2025 5-Week Film Production Course for Ages 14-18
- Meeting schedule:
- Dates: June 30-August 5, 2025 (July 3 & 4 are vacations) with final screening of projects is Tuesday Aug 5th pm.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 12.30-5.30pm
- Venue: Foundry Church, 16th Street, Washington DC (3 blocks from Dupont Metro- Red Line)
- Field Trips on 3 Wednesdays

- A practical hands-on course in digital film production.
- Content: Cinematography, sound, script, performance, directing, lighting and editing. Each team produces a short fiction film. Our teaching team has a wealth of experience in filmmaking and we know students love them and the program!
- Size: Up to 18 students divided into production teams. Completed projects are in consideration for Y-CAM, the 13th annual DCIFF High School Film Competition in 2026.
- Equipment: Provided, but if you have a laptop, bring it.
- Requirements: You must attend 75% of the course to receive a Certificate of Completion and to be listed as Cast/Crew on a project.
- Cost: FREE of charge for all the participants except for a one time $60 (DC residents) / $85 (non DC residents) registration fee to cover incidentals and $100 for daily snacks one the full five weeks (payment due June 23rd).
