Volunteer
DCIFF is run entirely by volunteers committed to showcasing independent films in our nation’s capital. Long-term volunteer-staff positions usually result from volunteering for one year and then becoming a staff member the next year. Become a volunteer here.

The generous support of individuals has allowed us to provide hundreds of thousands of individuals of all ages with high-quality programming since 1999. As a registered all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible.

The DC Independent Film Festival (DCIFF) is a registered non-profit organization founded in 1999 to showcase and foster established and novice filmmakers working across the genres of feature, short, animation, experimental and documentary films.
DCIFF is run by dedicated volunteers and all financial support is used for programming and outreach. Your contribution will increase our education, music and film-related arts offerings. We are also always open to mutually beneficial community partnerships.
