Key Cast: Mina Walker, Joan Glackin, Jordan Lage
USA / 2019 / 80 mins / World Premiere

TOUCHED is a quiet thriller about blind and deaf sisters, Anna and Beth, who live happily in a secluded small town with Father. However, when a neighbor stops by, Anna and Beth begin to realize their father’s mental health has been deteriorating their entire lives and question whether or not he truly has their best interest at heart. Filmed with the spirit and budget of indie filmmakers like Robert Rodriguez and Richard Linklater’s debut films, coupled with genre elements and Hitchcockian control, Touched lures the audience into the world of a small family, dropping bits of information enticing the viewer to discover the truth and motivations behind its characters questionable, and sometimes absurd, actions. Director Barak Bakan attending.
