This year’s judges are:

Washington DC native Luke Barnett is a writer, producer and performer best know for his work with Will Ferrell’s website, Funny or Die, where he co-created the Streamy nominated series, “The Walking Fred”, and many topical comedy videos on the site. His feature debut, horror-comedy “Fear, Inc”, stars Abigail Breslin and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Deirdre Evans-Pritchard, DCIFF Executive Director, established the High School Competition at the festival in 2013 as a means to assure that talented young filmmakers have an outlet for their work. Having handed running of the competition of the competition on to high school students themselves, she is delighted to be able to judge the finalists this year.

Eli Savada is a film historian and critic. Since 1977, he has owned and operated the Motion Picture Information Service, which has provided customized copyright research reports to over 1,200 clients.
